Create · grow · discover together
Once a month, Portland makers sit down together — in the room or over video from home — and make art side by side: painting, photography, writing, music, video, craft — every medium. Every piece joins this free public gallery, where you can purchase it or commission new work directly from the artist.
Artists keep 100% of every sale and commission. The gallery takes nothing.
Join the next sessionThe makers behind the collection — their photos, their stories, and their work. Every artist can be commissioned directly and keeps 100%.
Monthly maker sessions — supplies, food, and a transportation hand provided free. Paint, draw, photograph, write, record, film, craft. First-timers welcome. Can't be in the room? Join by video and make along from home.
Every session ends with makers sharing what they made. With each maker's permission, the piece is photographed into the gallery.
The gallery grows every month — images, audio, video, and writing, free for anyone, anywhere, to browse. Forever.
Love a piece? Purchase it, or commission new work, directly from the artist — every dollar goes to the maker.
Curated sets from the collection — each one gathers pieces around one story, project, or purpose.
New pieces join the collection every month as makers share their work. Some frames below are still waiting for their maker — one of them could be you.
The Community Art Gallery meets monthly. Sessions are free — supplies, food, and bus fare or a ride covered if you need it — in person at a Portland community space (location announced with sign-ups) or virtually from anywhere. Every level of experience belongs, including none at all.
Sign-ups go to our newsletter — launch dates, session reminders, and new-collection announcements. Free, no admission ever, unsubscribe any time.
